Banner Elk Café & Wilderness Run Alpine Coaster. Have you been? You can easily make an afternoon of it like we did. ------- Alora & Mark had a blast riding the coaster & remember.... YOU control the speed on these things. Vivia wasn't feeling well, so the two of us stayed behind to capture the footage. It was snowing in Durham last night. That only added to the magic. We played like children, laughed like no one was listening, and drank enough hot chocolate to last (almost) the rest of winter. ----------- The FestiBull of Lights is a new holiday event at the Durham Bulls Athletic Park. It features a train ride around the baseball diamond, fire pits for roasting smores, thousands of twinkling lights, and more. It took over 6 weeks to create this winter wonderland. (You know I asked!) Oh, and no worries... the bubble snow stays on site. ------------ Opening weekend runs through Sunday, but you can visit November 26th - January 3rd (except major holidays). Take the kids, your nieces and nephews, your boo or your crew for a good time.
