I used to worry that the teen years meant too much distance or losing my daughters altogether. Instead, my oldest, Alora, has stayed close as she enters adulthood. My youngest, Vivia, is a loner like me. (See slide 3) She comes & goes as SHE needs to. When Alora went through this phase years ago, I had to learn to let it be & trust in the bond we'd already built.
