Loaded Nachos at MacGregor Draft House

It was our early Valentine’s Day date. Johnny & I were in route to do something adventurous for the holiday but I needed a quick bite first. Close to our activity was MacGregor Drafthouse. There were tables available but we chose to sit at the bar.

It was one of those instances where only I was hungry but I knew I’d end up sharing. That’s what couples do! A full meal nor alcoholic beverages were necessary because we needed all of our brain power & energy for our venture! (Seriously… check out the fun thing we did here.)

On the appetizer menu are the Draft House Nachos. Perfect! They’re available in two sizes: Light & Hefty. I chose the light option but as you can see, that’s a pretty large portion size!

You can choose chili, chicken or pulled pork. Your meat of choice is placed over chipotle seasoned tortilla chips & topped with mixed cheese, tomato, lettuce, fresh jalapenos & black olives. Salsa & sour cream are served on the side.

Can you say “YUMMY?”

We really enjoyed these nachos & would get them again. Johnny & I visited the Cary, N.C. location. If you’re in the area, definitely check them out. Next time, we’ll try a full meal & let you know what we think.
