2021 Outdoor Adventures & The 52 Week Hiking Challenge

New year. New adventures.

As usual, I have quite a few on my list. Some are new. Others I hope to return to.

In 2020, I shared a family adventure list for the year. Needless to say… it was written before Covid & plans changed drastically. I’d still love to conquer a few of those activities but I get excited researching new ideas. So, I created another list. Less detailed but relevant.

What’s On The List…

1. State & national parks

2. Drive-thru zoos

3. Aquatic activities

4. Small town or city exploration

5. Learn More Survival Skills

6. Camping/Glamping

7. Sunrise Hikes

Even though it’s not too late, I’m unsure if my family will join the #52HikingChallenge. Have you heard of it? It’s a challenge to go on a weekly hike for a full year.

Committing to one hike per week sounds easy but it feels impossible right now. The weeks can often be so unpredictable but I’ve learned “everything is figureoutable.”

Now, I’m curious about your plans. Where are you going? What do you want to do this month, season, or year? Feel free to add my ideas from this post or last year’s to your list (if that helps). And with all adventurous ideas-especially during this time- safety is always the top priority.

Be safe & have fun!
