The Past Few Weeks

Things have been inexplicably strange & busy in ways I don't prefer. Yet, we persevered & came out better than we started. From the look of social media posts & other outlets, this has been reality for many people. Whether a side effect of the recent mercury retrograde or because adulting has no chill, I'm ecstatic things are settling down in undesirable areas.

On the flip side, new doors & opportunities have emerged as well. It's the yin & yang of life. The contrast that comes with existing. Whenever lower energies or more difficult challenges arise, I know blessings are on the other side. And often times… the bigger the storm, the brighter the sunshine afterwards.

Such is the case now & excited is once again an understatement. Of course, I'll share details with you soon. I need a little more time to process & get organized.

What we're up to….

1. Getting rid of STUFF (still!). Clothes, shoes, toys, & items no longer fitting into our lifestyle.

2. Yard work, fall decorating, & attending seasonal events.

3. Halloween movies! It's my favorite time of year. No way am I missing out on the spooky stuff!

4. Confirmed a trip & now ironing out smaller details. YAY!

5. Writing & content creation.

6. New photos for new projects.

7. Last but most importantly, improving everything involving health. For example, creating new workout schedules, meal planning, & participating in athletic activities. The real wealth is great health. Period. Don't ever take that for granted.

One thing I'm really appreciating nowadays is that my entire household is in unison. We agree on what needs to be done & how we should execute. Seeing that a pre-teen & teen are involved, we definitely have our moments. It's inevitable but my daughters are troopers. All it usually takes is a bit of redirection & reminders of our end goals-which includes things they individually want to have or experience.

That alone is enough to get them moving!

The power of true grit & faith has proven itself repeatedly in our lives. It continues to, therefore, we don't mess around with anything less. It's human to get weary and/or discouraged but spiritual to keep believing & taking action in spite of.

In that realm… on that level… is where we choose to operate.

Now I'm off to finish enjoying the weekend with my girls. I can't wait to snuggle later, enjoy a hot cup of something, & eat snacks! That's the stuff I live for.

Good times, y'all. Good times. =)
